 Purcell King Arthur for Harry Christophers and The Sixteen at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival.
  Two-to-a-part with step out solo performances of Bach B Minor Mass for Musica Saeculorum in South Tyrol, Italy.
 Handel Dixit Dominus for Harry Christophers and The Sixteen in Hong Kong, Sydney and Wellington in Spring 2012.
 A recital at West Green House in April 2012.

Recent highlights include...

the world premiere of Howard Goodall's oratorio "Every Purpose Under the Heaven: The King James Bible Oratorio" at Westminster Abbey on Remembrance Sunday this November. Soloists were Kirsty and tenor Noah Stewart, conducted by the composer and joined by the United Church Schools Trust. A truly inspiring event!
singing "The Shadow" in Spitalfields Summer Festival's newly commissioned opera "We are Shadows" by John Barber and Hazel Gould which involved an amazing mixture of musicians including five singers from The Sixteen, Adam Green, Robert Gardiner, neighbourhood schools and Spitalfields Singers Community Chorus. The show received rave reviews including a five star review from Geoff Brown at The Times..."We sat there with grins on our faces, totally in the grip of delight"...To read the full review click here.
 performing Vecchi's Comedia Dell'Arte masterpiece L'Amfiparnaso with I Fagiolini at the Händel Festspiele in the Goethe Theater in Bad Lauchstadt, Halle, Germany. Masks at the ready!
 singing live to 20,000 people at the 400th anniversary celebrations at Hatfield House with The Sixteen Consort.
 performing the second soprano solos in Handel Dixit Dominus at the beautiful Usher Hall in the Edinburgh Festival for Harry Christophers and The Sixteen.

Other news...

 Last November in the beautiful chapel at Arundel Castle, Kirsty joined Alamire, directed by Dr David Skinner, to record an album of music by John Taverner entitled "Imperatrix inferni". This has just been released and the first of the reviews is in! "Music of outstanding quality ... luminous tibre ... the purity of tone and accuracy of tuning throughout this programme are about as fine as I have ever heard ... a sumptuous wash of sound that is at the same time highly intelligible" Andrew O'Connor, International Record Review
In August Kirsty sang the second soprano solos in a live recording of Monteverdi Vespers with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment conducted by Robert Howarth. The recording has now been released to some excellent press including a five star review in The Independent (click here to view) and another great one in Classical CD Review (click here to view). Music-web International has made it their recording of the month with a nice mention for the solo sopranos! (click here to view).
 This New Year, Kirsty had the great pleasure of performing in the Gabrieli Consort's "Winter Wassail" at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. To see some wonderful photos of the show by Simon Kane click here!
